Hi! My name is Jacqueline Gordon.  Teaching is my passion and I enjoy the challenges it brings everyday. This is my sixteenth year at Russom Elementary School and I love it here!!!  I taught for two years prior to having my own children.  I then chose to stay home with them until they started school. I have been back now for 19 years.  In addition to teaching in Paulding County, I also taught in Douglas County.  I have taught third and fourth grade.  This is my twelfth year teaching first grade and I am so excited! I love this age!!

I was born in Ohio, but grew up in Douglasville, GA.  I graduated from Lithia Springs High School in 1989.  I then earned my B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University.

I recently moved from Acworth to Dallas with my husband, two children, and four dogs.  My children, Max and Libby, both attended Russom and graduated from North Paulding High School.  Libby is now a senior at Georgia Southern University and Max attended KSU before going to work in the family business.  We are so happy that we chose Russom for them and glad it continues to be my home.  We have met so many wonderful people and made many lifelong friends!
