Homework-
*Spelling and Phonics homework will be assigned on a daily basis and expected the following day Monday - Thursday. Spelling and Phonics tests are given every Friday.
*Reading/Fluency will be assigned on Mondays - Thursdays.
*A Math calendar will be assigned every month. Each day your child will be asked to work on a necessary skill. Please initial each night after they have completed the task. The calendar is due at the end of the month.
Behavior-
*We follow the Russom 3 R's behavior plan for the classroom, hallway, and cafeteria.
Students are to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Succeed. I track the students' behavior using the Classroom Dojo app.
*Students start each day with five points. They lose points for poor choices and earn points for positive choices.
5+ points= great day!
4 points = warning
3 points = time out
2 points = time out in another teacher's room
1 point = office referral
