Classroom Procedures

I.  Entering the classroom

    A.  Walk in quietly and orderly

    B.  Put the needed supplies on your desk

    1.  Pen

    2.  Binder

      a. Looseleaf paper

      b.  Dividers – notes, culture, vocabulary, NTBK check items

    3.  Necessary book

      

      C.  Look at the board for Bellringer directions

      D.  Begin bellringer

II.  During class

      A.  Remain in your assigned seat

      B.  NO talking unless called upon by the teacher

      C.  If you finish an assignment early, check your work
      D.  Once you have checked your work, look over vocabulary

III.  Classwork

     A.  Completed on looseleaf only

     B.  All work is to have the proper heading

     C.  Notebook checks will be done on the day of a chapter test

IV.  Testing

     A.  Talking not permitted

     B.  Everyone will take the test regardless of previous absences
     C.  Tests are announced one week prior

     D.  Tests will be completed on looseleaf paper only

     E.  Tests will be completed using legible ink 

V.  Absences

     A.  Student is responsible for getting the assignments from the website

     B.  If absent the day before a test you will be expected to take the test, but may retake the test

     C.  If absent the day of a test you are responsible for making up the test, the grade is a zero until the test is taken

     D.  Testing for retakes and make-ups will be before or after school

VI.  Books

     A.  Get the needed books from under YOUR desk

     B.  You will need to have your  workbook daily

VII.  End of class

     A.  The teacher dismisses the class NOT the bell

     B.  You will be told when to pack up

     C.  Put classroom books under YOUR desk

     D.  Make sure your assignments are in the correct section of your binder

     E.  Sit quietly
