Course Description:
In this class you will learn about the human body.  This will provide you with a detailed look at all the organ systems as well as their histological components.  This class is a college preparatory class and will be treated as such.  The information provided will be thorough and intensive.  Students who complete this class will have a working understanding of the human body and be adequately prepared for future anatomy and physiology courses.

Current Topic: Integumentary System

 

In this unit, you will discuss the organs and functions of the integumentary system.  This will include a detailed look at the skin, hair, nails, and glands associated with the skin.  You will also become familiar with the various types of membranes found throughout the body.  Finally, we will review basic wound processing and the healing that results.
