Welcome to Waldo Pafford Elementary! We are very excited to begin the new school year. Our teams are equipped with dedicated teachers ready to make this a very productive year for your child. Conferences – We are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 2:30 – 3:15. Please contact the front office at (912)877-4188 to schedule.
Transportation – If your child is to take a different mode of transportation than usual, you are required to send a note to your child’s homeroom teacher in advance. Unless we are notified of the change, your child will have to be sent home via the usual mode of transportation.
Absences – Should your child miss school, he/she will need to bring a note within three days of the absence, or it will be counted as unexcused. Please check the student handbook for more information concerning attendance.
Homework – Students are responsible for completing and returning their homework.
Progress Reports – Every four weeks a progress report is issued. This report will let you know the subjects in which your child is having difficulty. Please talk with your child about his/her progress, sign the report, and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher.
NOTE: Please stop by the office and obtain your child’s login information for Power School. This is a great way for you to keep track of your child’s grades.
