Lunch
Lunch and Recess are from 10:45-11:30 daily. On early dismissal days, NO lunch is served in the cafeteria, however, students will be instructed to bring in their own lunch and we will all eat in our classroom.
Students can either bring a nutritious lunch from home or order a platter costing $2.95 (milk included) or purchase milk only for 50 cents. Your child will receive a pin number that he/she will keep from kindergarten to eighth grade. Our lunch program enables parents to put money in the child’s account weekly, monthly, or daily. Please put lunch or milk money in a sealed baggie or an envelope with your child’s name,the amount of money enclosed, and marked lunch money (to avoid any confusion). All money should be placed in the zipper pouch in your child's B.E.E. Book.
***We ONLY check B.E.E. Books (folders) for all important notes, homework, and money! If you put your child's lunch money in their bookbag, we will NOT receive it!
Recess
Students will go outside for recess every day unless it is raining or extremely cold. Please keep this is in mind when helping your child to select clothing for the day. Also, we are fortunate to have a variety of playground equipment. Please make sure your child wears sneakers or shoes that are equipped for running and climbing.
