Spanish II Course overview

 

Grading:

Homework 20%

Quizzes 25 %

Tests 35%

Class work 20%

 

Quizzes:  

Given after each section, such as vocabulary, grammar, concepts, etc.,

two parts per unit, each part will have 2 matching vocabulary quiz, 1 vocabulary from resources, different small grammar quizzes, by concept, 1grammar quiz from resource, 2 application quizzes.

 

Tests:

At  the end of each unit, which  will include vocabulary and grammar, some conversation, and listening skills; major projects.

 

Homework:

Some days, should not take more than 10-15 minutes.

 

Lateness policy:

late work will be accepted with a penalty of 20 points off per day of lateness

 

Extra help: availabe after school (to be prearranged)

 

Textbook:

We will be using Exprésate textbook. The textbooks are to be kept in the classroom for everyday use. If you would like to take one home, please see me.

 

Supplies:

note book and a folder/binder to keep handouts.

 

Technology: we will be using the Ipad as a way to assign and submit work, using Google Classroom among others.
