 CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

 

 

Physical Education Guidelines:

 

*Proper physical education attire must be worn to all classes.*

 - Grey Haddon Township Physical Education T-shirt -

- Mid thigh or longer athletic shorts -

- White athletic socks -

- Athletic sneakers with tied laces -

 

*Athletic sweat pants and a non-hooded sweatshirt may be worn over the proper T-shirt and shorts during outside activities.*

*No jewelry should be worn during class.*

*No electronic devises of any kind will be allowed during class.*

*Students must remain in the designated areas after class.  Failing to cooperate will result in a loss of points and/or detention.*

 

Attendance:

 

  1. Six points will be deducted for each unexcused absence.
  2. Two points will be deducted for each excused absence after the first two.  (Exceptions include:  class trips and medicals)

 

Medicals:

 

  1. All medicals must be approved by the school nurse.

 

Lockers:

 

  1. Bring your own lock.
  2. Locks must be removed at the end of the period. 
  3. Students are responsible for all personal items.

 

 

Physical Education Grading Policy

 

Students will begin each quarter with a grade of 100%.  Points will be deducted after an infraction occurs.  Each infraction is typically worth 2 points. These include but are not limited to the following:

 

Lateness

Unprepared (proper dress code)

Misbehavior

Lack of Participation

Absent (Students may lose points after the first two absences).

 *Medicals have no negative effect on grades*

 

Example:

 If a student is unprepared twice, late once and loses two participation points, he/she will receive a 92%.

 

 

Cuts, behavior problems and not participating may result in a loss of

2 - 6 points.  Cellphones and possession of any electronic devices will also result in a loss of points.
