Being Prepared for P.E.
On the days students have PE they are reminded to wear pants or shorts, a short-sleeved shirt, sneakers and socks. Please label all removable clothing with your child’s name. Sneakers should not be platform sneakers or have a sling back. Students with hair shoulder length or below need to have their hair pulled back.
No jewelry may be worn, except for medical alert tags. The student is responsible for any jewelry which is removed. The best procedure is to leave all jewelry at home on P.E. days. If a student has pierced ears, the earrings must be taken out or covered by band-aids/medical tape provided by the parent/guardian. These band-aids may be put on at home or by the student before class.
A student who is injured or not feeling well may be excused for up to two days with a parent/guardian note. If the student is to be excused for more than two days, a doctor’s note needs to be turned in to the school nurse. If you need to contact us at school, please call 973-366-0590 x113 or send an email.
