6th grade music exploration:

Students in grade 6 are introduced to music through the 7 elements of music:
Melody
Rhythm
Harmony
Form
Dynamics
Tempo
  Tone Color
Mini Units are developed for each of these topics.

Students will design a poster/advertisement for an instrument, in addition, they will select a piece of music to analyze for Form.
