Wild for Wildwood
We finally get to go to Wildwood! We have been waiting for twelve months to go there. I am going because my Grampa’s job holds an annual party there. My family, including my Nana, Grampa, Anthony, Dad, and Brandon will all be going. It took a long time to get there, but I did not care.
I asked, “Are we there yet?”
My dad replied, “We are here!”
I was excited! First we went to the water parks. It is a fact that it was really hot, but in my opinion it was as hot as a hot pepper. The ones I went on were the Leap Frog and the Shark. The Leap Frog was really cool! It was as cool as a cucumber. You have to step on lily pads to get to the other side. The Shark is just like the Leap Frog, you have to go from one side to the other. I fell two times and it was a splash! I said to my brother who was laughing at me, “Do you think this is funny?”
We finally got to go on rides! I went on Moby Dick, a spinning ride, a fast rollercoaster, and the Ferris wheel with my dad. The Ferris wheel seats were as smooth like a book cover. When it turned Brandon started laughing so hard, I thought he was going to fall out of the ride. Brandon also went on a car ride and he loved it.
I did not want to leave because I had so much fun. I asked my dad if we can stay overnight, but he said no. So, when we got home, it was about 11:30 pm. I was exhausted! The worst part of the day was that we had to wake up really early because we had church. That truly was the best day I ever had.

Snow, Skis’, and Snowboards Galore
At last! It was time to travel to Vermont! I can’t wait; it was like I was bouncing off the walls. I also can’t wait to go snowboarding and experience the cold crisp air in my face. It is a fact that the drive was going to be eight hours but in my opinion it felt like twelve hours. We are going with my mom and dad, my sister, my mom’s friend and some of her family members.
“Vermont here we come!”
When we got there we unpacked and played inside. We were overjoyed everyone was there! Who thought we would have so much fun this early? For some reason my mom and dad, sister and friends stayed up until 1:00 in the morning, but not me. I went to bed early. My dad announced, “We’re going snowboarding tomorrow.”
The next day, when my dad and I woke up for snowboarding I was so excited. I ate breakfast and as soon as I was finished I went upstairs to get dressed. I had so much to put on. I put on long johns, which are insulated underwear, jeans, sweatpants, and a sweatshirt. I also had to put on my winter coat. When I went outside, it was hard to walk because I had on all the extra layers of clothing and because the snow was two feet deep! When we got to the mountain we had to rent a snowboard and boots for me. My dad already had his gear so he was ready to roll!
I thought it was going to be freezing but I was hotter than jalapeno pepper in all those layers of clothes. We started off on the easy hills. I went on the lift to go up the hill. At the top of the hill we had to strap up our snow boots to the boards. I went down the hill slowly then I got used to it and finally we were at the bottom. I told my dad, “I want to try some more easy ones.” After a few times down the easy trails I was getting comfortable and feeling ready to move one. It was time to go down the medium trails.
The medium hills were super fun. My dad said, “Jack it is time to go pick up Kayla.”
I said, “Ok.” After we picked her up we wanted to see what she learned. We went up to a medium hill and she got the hang of it pretty quickly. My dad decided that he wanted to go on some expert trails. Kayla and I went up and down the medium trails together while he went up the expert trails by himself. It was just about getting lunch time and everybody was there so we met up in the lodge and ate together.
Next, I decided to go snowboarding by myself with my dad’s permission. I did it because I kind of knew around the place. It was a fun time by myself and a little scary too. I was scared because on the lift I was with total strangers and the bar for the chair was hard to get down. I went down this trail that had trees down the middle and some bumps. It was a cool hill so I just kept going down it.
Finally, it was starting to get dark so I found my dad and Kayla. I was mad that we had to go. I stomped my way all the way to the car. I had a wonderful time snowboarding and can’t wait until next year.

Sami’s Sun-n Fun Summer
I heard my grandma shout, “Its Shellbe Shpogles”. We raced out of the pool to give her a huge hug. We haven’t seen my best friend for at least 6 years. We have known her since I’ve been coming to Florida. She moved to a different state and we have missed her because she was like family. It is a fact that she has grown since the last time I saw her, but in my opinion, she grew at least 2 feet. No matter how she grows, she will always be taller than my brothers.
Later on we sat down to talk a little about what was new and different about school. Can you believe no one talks like Shellbe in her school? We also talked about our favorite singer, favorite song, and favorite hit from that singer. We started talking about our favorite food and began to get hungry. All of a sudden, my brother shouted, “Let’s run home and pretend we are running to ENDLESS PUDDING!!!!!!” After eating the pudding, which wasn’t really endless. We walked her home and decided to go to Sun-n- Fun Lagoon the next day.
The park opened at 10:00 am and we got there around 10:30 am. We first went to the diving boards. One was 2ft. away from the water so if you did a belly flop it wouldn’t hurt so much. The other one looked like it was 20ft. away from the water, but if you did a belly flop off this one it would hurt like crazy. If you did a perfect, dive you would be at the bottom of the pool and trust me you wouldn’t like that because it’s 13ft. deep. Shellbe and I dove off the high dive and she and I did perfect dives. We both touched the bottom; my brothers didn’t even dive off the high dive. I told them, “You two are to chicken to dive off Bock! Bock! Bock!!! Finally, my brother Nick dove off the high dive, he didn’t touch the bottom, but at least he tried it.
Next we went to the Lazy River; we went straight to the tubes. We grabbed one for each of us, went up the huge tower, got on our tubes, and the next thing you know WEEEEEE!!!! HOOOOOO!!!! SPLASH!!!! We were in the Lazy River.
After that we went to the slides. There were 4 different ones to choose from. Shellbe went down #1 which was the fastest, Nick went down #4, it was pretty fast he said , Brandon went down #2 which was almost the same speed as #1 ,and I went down #3 which was the only open one left. We went on them so many times; it felt as if it were 400 times because they were so fun. Every time we went back up we went to the next number and we did it for at least a half an hour.
But then BOOM!!!!!!!! BEEP! BEEP!!! The alarms went off we had 3 min. to get out of the park. There was a storm coming. We stood out of the park for at least 20 min. We would have to leave if we waited for 10 more min but we that would be kind of good because we would be able to come back the next day. Then BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!!! We were allowed back in. I put down my stuff, and was the first one to the Leap Frog Lilly Pads. 3 people had water guns they tried to knock me off but I was holding on tight. You might say I was unbeatable. I had 2 more jumps until I made it. I did the last 2 jumps and I made it I was squirted more than 500 times and I did it without falling. Every one fell but me.
Near the end of the day, we went to the pools, but these were no ordinary pools. There were waterfalls that you could hide under and just sit under it too because there was a big brick wall to sit on. We swam around but got bored. So we played Marco-Polo and just like the last time we got bored. So we played categories and surprisingly we had fun for a little bit but after that little bit we got bored again. Since the pool was so big we played hide and seek, this time we had a whole bunch of fun and we played until her mom and my grandma got back. For part of the time before they came, I was hidden but then Nickolas, my meanest brother of them all found me by bumping in to me.
It was time to go now. The best 6 hours of our lives were over. The good news was Shellbe is coming back next summer. “Hey, maybe next summer we can go to King Richards Park!”

Bad Broken Body Part Blues
Yeah! Finally I have football practice today! I am going to tell how I got a broken arm, how I got to go in an ambulance, and what happened at the hospital. It is a fact that getting a broken arm really hurts but in my opinion it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. In my story, Shayne’s dad really did a good job taking care of me. I said in the story, “That really hurt.” And it really did hurt, but for only a few minutes.
It all started when there was about ten more minutes left at practice. I ran a reverse toward the touchdown zone, I almost made until Tyler tackled me! I dropped onto the ground and had a feeling that I broke something. Shayne’s dad came over; he helped me, and asked me if it hurt. I said, “What do you think?” I am surprised it didn’t hurt that much! It did not hurt that much even though my bone almost came out of my arm. Shayne’s dad had to cut all my pads off.
I said, “Is the hospital going to cut my arm off?” Luckily they didn’t. At that moment, someone called the ambulance. When the ambulance came, they strapped me in, I felt weird like a mummy getting strapped into a tomb. I then went to the hospital.
OUCH!!! I said when they tried to move my arm straight, and they immediately stopped. Next, I went to this room and they knocked me out with sleepy gas. It felt like getting needles in your body and they asked me how much it hurt, in a number from 1 through 10. I said 3 because it was hurting me a little bit when I woke up. Lucky for me, my mom and dad never left my side.
After that ordeal I went home and I took a much needed shower. I was as dirty as a pig rolling in mud. Finally I got to go to sleep! Then I said to myself, “Man that was one day I would never ever forget!” I hope my next football practice is much better and less painful.

Smelly Day with Snapper Blues
I felt a tug on my rod; it pulled so viciously it almost broke my line. I tried to reel in the fish but I couldn’t! Every time I reeled it in a little bit, it almost took me off the dock. I think the fish tugged like a lion chasing an antelope, but Dave didn’t think so. I had a really big fight. But after an unnerving five minutes I got the fish onto the dock.
We including, my Uncle Douglas, Dave, my mom, my sister, Kevin, little Doug, Tim, Donna, and I waited to measure the fish. My, Uncle Douglas came out with the fish measure and shouted “4 ½ feet and 35 pounds!” It is a fact that this is the biggest fish that I ever caught in my whole entire life and in my opinion this is my favorite fish that I ever caught. It gave me the biggest fight I’ve ever had in my whole entire fishing experience.
Everybody, including , Kevin, my mom ,my sister , Dave, Tim ,Donna , my uncle Doug, little Doug, and a lot of other people was proud of me especially my mom. She kept yelling “WOO!!! YEAH CASS!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!” Is it just me or is my mom crazy? I just caught this 4 ½ gigantic snapper blue?!? My mom confessed to me that she felt like she was going to pass out because she was so proud of me. Everybody kept announcing how they thought I’m an amazingly good fisher, and that they are jealous of me.
“YOU ARE AMAZING CASCIDY,” little Doug kept telling me.
It got so crowded that I almost fell off my dock! Every five minutes we kept dunking it in the water so I could see that it was still breathing. Every now and then, I would touch it to make sure it was still alive. After everyone saw the great catch of the day, I put it back into the water.
“Bye, bye, see you later, see you soon I’ll miss you.”
After an hour and a half everybody got to see the fish then they left. I think after a fun day of joy and happiness I had a fabulous time.
I thought to myself, Hmmmmm, it’s getting really late (1:00 am) I don’t want to go to bed, so I didn’t. I thought about how the fish looked and how it felt and what a fight it put up. I looked at pictures of the fish and looked at pictures of other snappers people caught and found a picture of one that looked just like mine. I almost passed out but I couldn’t stop looking at the pictures because they were really cool. This could not have been a better day thanks to that slimy, smelly fish.

Layla’s Surprise Canoe Trip
BRING! BRING! BRING! BRING! My alarm clock rang and woke me up in a drop of a hat. I jumped out of my bed and plopped on the floor. I heard my dad coming up the stairs yelling, “Are you alright?”
I shouted” I am fine!”
My dad grumbled, “Why are you not dressed yet?”
I told him that I just woke up and my Dad told me that I should get dressed in a hurry. I put on a purple tank top and some jeans and a pair of flip flops. I quickly ran downstairs to find out what the rush was, and what was going on.
Later on in the morning, I went down to help my dad. My dad suggested that I wash the canoes. I got the hose, a bucket and some soap and began to do the job. It was as easy as baking a cake to wash the canoes. After doing my job, I asked my Dad again what was going on and he just told me to be patient and that I would find out later. After that he ordered me to go help my Mom gather food. I thought to myself, why do we need food and a clean canoe?
My dad yelled into the house, “Ready to go?” My sister, my Mom, and I came rushing out the door. It took a while to get there but it was totally worth it. When I looked out the car window, I saw a big beautiful lake. It was the size of an ocean, the water was as blue as the sky, and the water was so calm, it felt weird. We put the canoes in the water and we were off!
As we traveled the lake we spotted deer, birds, rabbits and even a big slimy old snake! I froze with fear finally we passed the snake. We found a little island and decided to take a short break and eat lunch there. Then we continued with the ride.
When we were passing the swans the ride had ended and we were back to where we had parked the car. At that moment, I felt something down my back; I thought it was a ladybug. My dad looked and told me that there were spiders crawling down my back. I jumped into the water and tried to drown them then my mom shouted to come on because we had to go. I got out of the water, grabbed a towel and leaped in the car.
BUMP! BUMP! The canoes were bouncing on the trailer all the way home. I was looking at all the pictures my sister was taking and boy were they funny, my sister took a picture of me jumping in the water. The rest of the pictures were all of the animals and mom trying to tip dad out of his kayak. That night I was so tired that I could go to sleep in a split second. I was blue that the day was over already, it was great spending time with my family. And I learned that don’t wear a tank top when I go canoeing again. It seems spiders are attracted to purple tank tops.

Hungry for Hunger Games!
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so terribly SCORCHING hot. Is it me, or am I so hot I feel like I’m the burning sun out here?! My best friends and I had just spent 4 hours at our community’s park, Freedom Fields. A place for children, generous parents, and of course, the woods and the playground! My friends and I were playing our first game of the Hunger Games, a game where everyone is in for the ride!
The kids I was playing with consists of funny and musical Gaten, fast and always laughing Carmen, and crazy and lovable Sabrina. They are all AMAZINGLY perfect brothers and sisters. They play with each other a lot and make a great family.
It is a fact that we went to the park, but in my opinion I did not think we would have fun. We didn’t know what we should do because we never went to any playground together. We usually ate dinner or went to the beach, but never went to Freedom Fields. Gaten suggested we play a game we learned in Physical Education, like Octopus tag. We decided to go and take a sweet little walk in the woods.
Once we got to the woods, Sabrina asked us if we could play the Hunger Games. We thought that could be an okay time so we agreed. I was strong, reliable Katniss, Gaten was soft, sweet Peeta, Sabrina was fierce, harsh Clove, and Carmen was Fast, and Furious Thresh.
We started at 12:00 in the woods and Sabrina and I planned to be an alliance. Gaten said the oath of the Hunger Games and we started our stimulating game. Sabrina and I sprinted in the same direction, facing away from the boys. We went deeper and deeper into the woods and as we got deeper Sabrina and I got lonesome.
We had no idea where we were going, so we decided to head back. When we were heading back we saw Gaten, he did not have the fighting skills, so he decided to run away. Carmen was obviously not too far behind, because we heard the sound of him fiercely attacking Gaten. We ran away because we did not want to get hurt by either of them.
Once we got to safety we made a meeting place where nobody would find us. It was at the very end of the scary, creepy woods, by a nearby route. We decided to make a code word, so if we needed help we could easily come to the others aid.
Sabrina whispered, “We aren’t making any progress by running away.”
She decided to go out and try to trick gullible Gaten. Once she got to the middle of the woods she saw him wondering around. She asked if he wanted to make a (fake) alliance with her. He said that would be okay and she brought him to the secret meeting place (where I was waiting to fool our Peeta)
He strolled up to our secret place as if this was as cool as a cucumber. He had no idea he was being fooled. We gave him some water that was poisonous water. He didn’t know it was poisonous so he drank it, and that meant he was automatically out of the game.
Now with Gaten out of the game, we focused on Carmen. He was going to be very tricky because he was SUPER fast. In my opinion he is as fast as a cheetah. We ran very quietly and found Carmen pretty quickly. He also saw us too and he chased us all the way to the end of the woods. “WHOOSH!!!!!!!!!!” That was the sound of Carmen zooming, trying to get us. At the end of the shady, creepy woods, there (thankfully) were two turns, and you could easily go right or left. Sabrina knew Carmen would go left so I followed Sabrina right. When he realized he wasn’t chasing anyone he left and walked, in confusion, away. Carmen came back a couple minutes later. We easily got him out of the game by pouring the poisonous water down his back.
I ran as fast as I could because Sabrina would surely get me then and there if I stayed. Sabrina and I were no longer companions, we were nothing but enemies. Sabrina is going to kill me. I could have just died there and, then it would have been so much easier than the pain of waiting for her to come and get me. That’s what I thought and I was surely right. Sabrina got me while I was resting my eyes, trying to get the worries out.
Even though I lost, it was the BEST game I had ever played! We left the park and we went home to rest. That was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a GREAT time, and I can’t wait to play again!!!!!!!!!!

Kitty Kat Kraziness
The evening I got my cat, I was zealously thrilled, and I was so delighted when my mom said we were getting a cat. We got there, looked at the cats, picked one out, bought her, and brought her home. When we got her, she was three months old and looked so cute; she was so adorable. I was as happy as a kid getting a birthday present. It is a fact that she is a kitten, but in my opinion she is the cutest cat I know. She acts like a dog that is really excited she is oddly crazy. I hope she’s going to be a good choice for our family.
Our family drove to the SPCA in Manahawkin, NJ on January 4th 2012. We looked for a cat that fit our family. The first cage I saw I was overjoyed of how cute she was. So my mom asked if we could interact with her, the employees said yes and I thought they were fantastic for letting us see how she would react to us. We played with her for a little. I asked if I could get her, my mom said yes. When we bought her I said, “Yes!” Her name was Shelby we liked it so we didn’t want to change her name.
We got in the car and drove home. When we got home my grumpy older brother Ean let Shelby out of the crate and she ran to the curtains and hid. That night I was so happy all I could think of was my new cat, and I will never forget the day I got my cat I was as happy as a soccer player getting a goal on the net!!!

Paula’s Perfect Party
Wow! What an awesome night. It was a very special night for me because I got my stunts down at cheer. I was able to do a kick single, a toe-touch arch, and a double twist-out. It felt so amazing, like when your parents let you eat three ice cream sundaes. I could tell that my team was so proud of me. It is a fact that I went to Cheer Gym to learn stunts, but in my opinion I did not think I would be able to do them.
Our coach told us to tumble on the floor or on the tumble track, I chose tumble track. I was trying my front tuck, and then my front walkover; I practiced them on the tumble track. My friend Ciara came over and yelled, “Go try it on the floor!” Since I was able to do those stunts on the tumble track I did. I got it and I was amazed at myself for being able to do the stunts!
When I got home I told my mom everything that happened at Cheer Gym. She was so proud of me! She announced we could go out for ice cream. I was so excited because I got to bring two friends. I brought Troy who lives in Summerville and my other friend Vasiliki, his grand mom came too. The bad part was that my brothers had to come to hang out with Troy.
My mom surprised me by taking me to my favorite ice cream place Stewarts! I got a cookies and cream ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Delicious! We also got to see the band that was playing there that night. But I do not know what band was playing some kind of old band I think (I do not listen to that kind of music.) That was a terrific night for me, not only did I hit all of my stunts but I got to sleep over my friend Vasiliki’s. I will tell you more about that story next time.

Areyana’s Amazing Adventure
YAY! We are going camping, I can’t wait, and it’s going to be a perfect day today! My family took the RV it was a noisy ride. During the ride, my brother kept screaming like someone was hurting him. My family including my mom, dad, big brother Andre and I were going camping for the second time in my life. When we got there my brother and I hurried down to the lake and took a swim. When we jumped in the lake was as cold as frozen ice and you would start to shiver, but that did not stop us from enjoying the water.
After swimming, my brother and I went for a race to the RV to get dressed. We were going fishing next, we got our fishing rods. We started to catch fish, I caught thirty fish my brother caught twenty seven. We came back at lunch time we would be eating fish. It is a fact that people eat fish and enjoy them, but in my opinion, they were yucky!! My mom, dad, and brother enjoyed every bit they ate. When we finished lunch, my dad said, “Do you want to go fishing?” We jumped up and down with excitement.
A little later my big brother Andre and I went on the boat with my dad. On the lake, the water was calm at times but as we continued we hit some rough spots. We caught fish, we rode around some more, I got to use the paddles, and then we headed back to our campsite area. It was time to go back to the RV to eat dinner. We were having pizza, my favorite.
Finally it was time to go to sleep; we had such a busy and fun day. It certainly was a perfect day today. “Tomorrow is another day,” my mom added. I hope it will be even better than today.

Spectacular Scrambled Eggs
Do you know how to make scrambled eggs well the best way to make them is what I am going to show you. But first I am going to tell you some of my rules Don’t make something your going to waste, If you don’t know how to cook ask a parent or guardian to help you, This is the most important rule HAVE FUN!!!
These are some items that you should need before making your breakfast. Butter, Eggs, Salt, Pepper, and a spatula. First, you are going to put the pan on the stove. Next, you will turn on the stove but remember don’t burn yourself or you will say OUCH!!! Then, you are going to butter the pan. After that, crack open the eggs over the pan. You are then, going to want to put a little salt and pepper on the eggs while they are cooking. Let the eggs cook in the pan a little while. Now, take a spatula and pick the eggs up from the pan. Finally, put the eggs on a plate and enjoy. The eggs will taste as good as juicy watermelon.
Hope you like your eggs have a good breakfast. In my opinion these are really good eggs but it is a fact that different people like different food and tastes.

A Fantastic Ornament
Did you ever want to make an ornament? This ornament is fantastic and it is very pleasant for holiday times.
Start with the supplies you will need, a red round ornament, a circular sponge, black paint, white paint, and orange paint and a smock if you have one.
After you gather the supplies, place the ornament on a flat surface. Dip the sponge in the white paint, and smooth it on the ornament. But don’t press too hard because you do not want to break the decoration.
Press and hold it there for at least 5 seconds. You should have a white circle in the center of the ornament. Next put a sideways triangle in the middle on the white circle with the orange paint.
After that, on the top of the white circle put 2 dots with black paint. Put dots towards the bottom of the white circle put dots in the shape of a half circle with the black paint. Almost done! All you have to do now is wait until the ornament dries and hang it on a Christmas tree.

Yummy cake
Have you ever tried to make a cake? If you didn’t why don’t you try making some I’ll guide you through?
To make a cake you will need cake batter [any kind you like], 3 eggs, cooking oil, medium size bowl, measuring cup, weskit, cake pan, spray on pam and the last thing icing. Before you start to make the batter you need to put the oven on 325 and let it get hot.
Ready to make the batter you will need the dry cake batter, 3 eggs, cooking oil, the bowl, measuring cup, and the weskit. First you get the measuring cup and put half a cup of water and put it in the bowl, then one third of cooking oil and put that in with the water. Next you get your three eggs and crack them in the bowl and make sure there is NO SHELLS! Then you put the dry cake batter in the bowl with the eggs and water also cooking oil. Last you get the weskit and mix it all together.
Now your done with the batter so all you need to do is put on the spray on Pam and spray that on the inside of the pan.
Okay were almost done, after putting on the spray on Pam next you put the mixture in the pan and put it in the oven. All you have to do next is leave the pan in for 30 to 45 min. When it’s done take it out of the oven and let it cool off for 10 or 15 min. After it is cool you put you put the icing on it to put the icing on you get a butter knife but don’t put butter on the knife, then get the icing and put icing on the knife and spread it on the top of the cake. Ant theirs you cake, when I eat my cake I’m in heaven so tell me what yours tasted like.

How to start a huge snowball fight
My favorite thing to do in the winter is having a snow ball fight. In this how-to essay I will tell you how to start a huge snowball fight.
The most important thing you need is snow without snow because without snow you can not have a snow ball fight. Okay first ,you take your freezing hands and stick them in the snow so you can get a really big handful of snow . Next, you pick up your hands and you should have a lot of snow. If not try again. After that you cup the snow that is in your hand into a sphere so you can hold it correctly. Then, you grip the snowball that you made real tight but don’t crush it. Otherwise your going to end up building another one. Next, you extend your arm back and bring you arm forward really quick. While you bring you arm forward you let go of the snowball. Last, the snowball hits your target while your friends defend your target.
Now that I told you how go out side with your friends and have a gigantic snow ball fight. Don’t forget to have fun like your going to Six Flags.

Writing Scaly Lizards to Slimy Frogs 4 Baker
When you think about reptiles and amphibians you think about slimy and scaly creature’s right. When you read about these two harmless creatures like a lizard and a frog you will want one as a pet. So give these creatures a chance. It is a fact that people get scared of them. But in my opinion people should get one as a pet. If you disagree in getting one of them then it is your decision.
These two creatures are alike by their diet they both eat flies, dragon flies, and grass hopers. They both live in tropical places. They both are green, black, red, blue, and purple. Both of their senses are great and some people have lizards as pets and frog but people mostly get lizards right. They both have lungs and they both are hatched from eggs.
They are different by their size the lizards size is 4½ inches long and the frog is 2½ inches long. Another way they are different is by their life span the lizards life span is about 5 years long and a frog’s life span is about 4 years long. They are also different by their texture the lizards texture is scaly and the frogs texture is very slimy. Another way they are different by their laying rate a lizards rate is about 10 eggs a year, a frog’s rate is about 100 a year.
I hope you learned something from reading this compare and contrast essay. They are alike by their diet, and different by their size. They are also alike by their color and by that their hatched by eggs. They are also different by texture and by life span.

Extreme Sports: Scooters vs. Bikes
Have you ever seen a pro scooter or a BMX bike? I am going to compare and contrast them. Pro scooters and BMX bikes have some similarities like they both have pegs. Pegs are things that you can put on the bolt of your wheel. Another similarity is they both have grips. Grips are rubber cylinder shape things that you can put on the end of the bars.
Scooters have lots of equipment on them. Some are bars, grips, clamps and headsets. That is just some of them. I have a Royal Guard Pro Scooter, after school I ride it. I do tricks on my scooter too. There are lots of parts for a scooter. There are lots of types of scooters also. Scooters have some differences from bikes. Bikes do not have clamps. They also don’t have decks. A deck is what you stand on when you are riding.
Bikes have lots of equipment on them. Bikes have some differences form scooters also. A scooter does not have a seat. Another difference is scooters don’t have is tires over the wheel. A few of them are forks, seats, grips, wheels and tires. You can paint both of them if they are illimuninum metal. Bikes and scooters both have different styles. Both bikes and scooters are good things to have.

Kool karate and delightful dance
Have you ever had an experience with dance or karate? Well, I’m going to compare and contrast them. You will see that they have similarities and they have differences. In dance and karate you must wear certain clothes, you must have an ability, and it must be done in a certain area. It is a fact that these sports are not easy but in my opinion they are as easy as eating a piece of cake.
These two sports have a few similarities. In karate and dance you need to wear a certain type of clothes. In karate you would be required to wear is a white uniform. On the other hand in dance the teacher would most likely expect you to wear a tank top, t-shirt, sweat pants, or shorts. Also in these two beautiful sports you must have ability. The abilities you must have for dance and karate are you have to be strong and you have to be flexible.
However these two sports have differences too. In karate you have to do it in a certain area. The instructors would mostly want you to do it in a place where there are no people, glass or any special merchandise, but in dance they would tell you can basically do it any where you just have to be careful.
I really hope you guys have learned a lot about dance and karate and hopefully you will be willing enough to try one of these fabulous sports!

Different as New Jersey and Florida
What 2 states are mostly different but also alike? Well you guessed it, New Jersey and Florida. It’s a fact that more people like Florida better, but in my opinion I like New Jersey better.
One of the differences is the weather. NJ is cold as ice cream in the winter. Florida is as hot as a ghost pepper. (The ghost pepper is the hottest pepper in the world I don’t recommend trying it most likely you will burn your tongue off even if you take one little bite.) New Jersey is so cold because it is so far north from the equator. Florida is north of the equator but it is close enough to it feels like summer in winter. One time at my grandparents condo in Florida, and for my birthday my parents took me swimming and my birthday is in January that’s like the middle of winter .
Another difference is the plants a lot are the same but 1 or 2 are alike. The different ones I’m talking about is the palm tree (Florida) and the pine tree (New Jersey.) They are both ever green trees but palm trees are not pointy like pine trees are. And pine trees grow pinecones on them and palm trees grow coconuts. Also pine trees have branches all over them and palm trees have branches but they are way at the tippy top were the coconuts grow.
One another difference is the location. Both places are located on the east coast, but Florida is in the Southern part of the U.S.A., and New Jersey is in the Northern part of the U.S.A.
The next difference is the houses in New Jersey there can be 3 to 4 story houses. In Florida there are not a lot of 2 story houses. The reason why is because Florida get a lot of hurricanes and 2 or more story houses can get the up stairs floor ether blown away or collapse into the downstairs floor ether way it will be condemned. (Condemned is another way of saying you can’t live here it’s not safe.) , but New Jersey doesn’t get hurricanes as much as Florida does.
The last difference is the animals in Florida there are no deer in Florida; the reason why deer don’t live in Florida is because the weather down there is too hot for them and I wouldn’t blame them. Like manatees can’t live in the coldness of New Jersey so the live in the south so they live in the southern part of the world like South Carolina, Mississippi, and Hawaii.
Finally a similarity! As I said before, both states are located on the eastern sides of the U.S.A. and both have nice beaches and are next to the Atlantic Ocean. They also have really amazing board walks, amusement parks, really yummy restaurant, and they both also have really good places for fishing. One time I went fishing in Florida and I was the only one to getting a bite on my line and we kept changing places I caught a mango fish, a skate, and a whole bunch of catfish. Also one time in NJ my brother Nicky caught an eel in a fresh water lake. They both also have good places for fossil hunting. In both places I’ve been fossil hunting and you can find shark teeth over 3 billion years old.
I know they are 2 mostly different states but they are not exactly different and they do have similarities, they are still pleasant to visit every season of the year and have fun in New Jersey or Florida.
