At the end of the grading period students will be notified if they have not passed. Students may then qualify for the grade recovery system. This system will allow any student who has failed the grading period as a result of failure of tests to re-take any TEST that they have failed.  The re-test will be composed of multiple choice, short answer, and essay questions from class discussions and the reading(s) for that particular test.  You may use your notes to review for all re-tests.  Please make sure you keep your notes to ensure you have the proper study materials.  You can only use the grade recovery system for TESTS.  Projects, papers, and essays are excluded from the grade recovery system.

When a student has taken the re-test and passed, the highest score they can make is the lowest D. Students will have one week from the last day of the grading period to take the re-test. Remember that you cannot use the grade recovery system for the 4th grading period.
