Parents can now access the Reading series online! Go to www.thinkcentral.com

You can review the material and story.  The students will use their school login from their home computer.

When going to the site, click on the blue box to the left labeled "Reading & Language Arts".  Then, choose the "Storytown" box.  Now choose "Louisiana", "Tangipahoa Parish School District", and "D.C. Reeves Elementary School" from the drop down menus. The students will put their User name and Password from school and click "Login".  Next, click on "Library", and the student ebook should look the same as the textbook.  Finally, click on the book to open it.

You must make sure your sound is on.  You will be prompted to pick a book, then a theme and a lesson.  Look at the "Week in a Peek" (Monday note) to see which Lesson and Theme we're working on for the week.  To close the ebook click on the red X at the top right corner.  "Things to Do" and "My Assignments" are only available if I go in and give assignments.  This will mostly be for classwork or computer lab time and not for homework assignments.
