I have listed below some websites that your child can go to in order to continue to learn and have FUN while doing it. If you need help with any of these websites, you can email me ([email protected]), Dojo me, text/call me.

1. Zearn: We will use Zearn in class and please try to get them on it about 15 minutes each night. Once the Chromebooks begin to go home, I will send home their Username and Passwords for Zearn. If you would like it earlier, please email or Dojo me and I will send it to you. I can see when they log in and how long they log in for. If you have any problems getting on, contact me. This is a free site. www.zearn.org

2. sSpark Learning: This program does math and reading. We will mainly use the reading part in class. If your child likes the math portion, they can do 15 minutes of eSpark math INSTEAD of the 15 minutes of Zearn at night. The math tends to be advanced. So, the math work that may come up for your child could be at a 2nd grade level. Once the Chromebooks begin to go home, I will send home their Username and Passwords for eSpark Learning. If you would like it earlier, please email or Dojo me and I will send it to you. www.esparklearning.com

3. Scholastic: We will not use this one in class, but it is a really cool website. If you want your child on this, you will need to set your child up on your own. You do have to pay for it.  https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome/grades-1-2.html

4. ABCya: This website has great games for reading and math. Just make sure to select the correct grade. www.abcya.com

5. Headsprout: This is a program we use at school. A school administrator will set up the children with the most need (children with low reading scores) and I will send home the information about it. If you do not receive anything in their folder about this, then your child is NOT set up for it.

6. Teach Your Monster To Read: This is a free program. I have put all the children on it and sent home their usernames and passwords. It is a fun way to help your child learn to read. www.teachyourmonstertoread.com
