Classroom Rules

 

1.  BE ON TIME.  NO ONE LIKES TO PLAY CATCH UP.

2.  BE RESPECTFUL TO EACH OTHER.  EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS AND WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THEM TO BE SUCCESSFUL.

3.  COME TO CLASS PREPARED EVERY DAY TO LEARN AND DISCUSS WHAT IS GOING ON IN CLASS.

4.  IF WHAT YOU ARE DOING INTERFERES WITH LEARNING, HURTS SOMEONE, OR PREVENTS YOU FROM BEING YOUR BEST SELF, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.

 

Classroom Consiquences

 

1.  VERBAL WARNING FROM TEACHER

2.  TEACHER DETENTION AND A PHONE CALL HOME

3.  TEACHER DETENTION, PHONE CALL HOME, AND CONFERENCE REQUEST.

4.  REFERAL SENT TO ADMINISTRATION AND A PHONE CALL HOME

5.  REMOVAL FROM CLASSROOM, REFEREAL TO ADMINISTRATION, AND A PHONE CALL HOME

 

 

 

Absent/Missed Class Policy

 

If you are absent from class (whether it be you were sick, a class trip, etc),  missing work will be placed in folders that can be found at the back of the classroom.  These folders will have extra copies until the end of the week, after which time only one copy will be in there.  Any work that is being made up must be completed within three (3) school days in order for it to be counted.  Anything after that is up to the discresion of the teacher.  

 

Grades are important, especially when it comes to demonstrating what you can do.  There are no exceptions for missed work so please make sure that you get what you missed.
