Classroom rules:
- Always respect yourself and others, as well as, personal and school property.
- Come to class prepared (proper materials & attitude)
- Keep hands, feet, & objects to yourself
- No eating, drinking, or gum chewing
- Follow all rules as outlined in the school handbook
Consequences:
1st- Conference with student and restate behavior expectation
2nd - Assign alternative assignment 3 times
3rd - Assign alternative assignment 6 times & contact parent
4th - office referral
****Severe disruption clause: immediate referral to the office****
Classroom Procedures:
- Enter the room quietly, with all materials, and be seated by the time the tardy bell rings.
- All papers to be physically turned in must have your first and last name, date, and class period.
- All assignments to be graded must be submitted in Google Classroom and physical papers (if any) must be placed in the bin marked for your class period.
- If you are absent, it is your responsibility to log into my Google Classroom and complete the day’s assignment.
- If you are tardy to class (not school), you must sign the tardy sheet located next to the door. A student who is more than 10 minutes late to class will be referred to the office for skipping.
- You must stay in your seat and ask for permission to speak or leave your seat unless otherwise directed by me.
- Do not mark on tables. You will be responsible for cleaning or repairing tables if necessary.
- When the bell rings at the end of class, sit quietly until dismissed. Pick up all garbage from around your table and throw away as you exit the classroom.
- Students who need to use the bathroom must sign out using the school bathroom form.
- Dress code must be followed in accordance with the Parish guidelines.
- Students must use appropriate language at all times within the classroom.
****Remember: The teacher dismisses you, NOT the bell****
