Service Learning Projects

Our children learn about their character by taking care of others. This includes how we take care of our community. Each month we focus on projects that help our community members. No matter the size of the projects, our children's hands make a HUGE difference in the lives of others.

Service Learning Projects for 2014-2015

• October: Shoe Recycling (K-2) and American Red Cross and the Pillowcase Project (3rd grade)
• November: 8 family food baskets for Haven of Vineland/ Care Items Collection for Big Brothers and Big Sisters' Families
• December: Crocheting scarves and small blankets for local shelters
• January: Collecting children's items for St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen in Bridgeton
• February: Collecting Wish List items for the Vineland SPCA
• March: Wildlife project
• April: Planting herb and flower boxes for local nursing home residents
• May: Alex's Lemonade Stand Fundraiser
