Classroom Expectations

 

 

 

1.  For safety and health,  all rules and procedures must be strictly followed to due fact that our class is in a laboratory environment.

 

2.  No eating or drinking during class or during lab.  Bottled water is permitted.

 

3.  Students may leave class for emergencies only.  Students may sign out of class one at a time. 

 

4.  Students should begin class by answering the question opener in their notebook.

 

5.  Students should hand in their homework in the beginning of class.

 

6.  Students should turn off cell phones or place them in the bin.  Students who use their cell phone without permission will be written up.  No warnings will be given.  

 

7.  Student will complete their class assignment using their textbook as a reference.  

 

8.  After classwork is completed, students with permission, may listen to music.  No taking pictures, social media, texting, calling etc.  will be permitted.  

 

9.  Weekly labs will be awarded to students who follow class procedures and complete the pre-lab assignment.

 

10.  Any rude, impolite, or disruptive behavior towards others or toward me will not be tolerated. 

 

1st offense:  Warning

2nd offense:  Teacher Detention and parent will be contacted

3rd offense:  Discipline Referral
