Helpful Websites

I am a strong believer of using technology as a way to help reach the needs of every student. The following links will provide students and families with the resources they need to have a successful, fun, and enlightening year. More links will be added throughout the year as we discover and explore the world of learning.

Parents:
- This is a good site to reinforce skills that have been taught in a fun and engaging way: http://www.brainpop.com/

- Parents Helping Parents is an outstanding website that aims at helping parents who's child has a disability. Parents are able to talk with others who's child may have the same disorder and reach out to additional specialists for advice. I have been using this site for research as I complete my additional certification in special education and find it very useful.: http://www.php.com/

-Internet4Classrooms is a wonderful site that is full of additional worksheets and games that will help students build upon skills:http://www.internet4classrooms.com/parents.htm

- The PBS site for parents has great information on how to get your child to eat healthier and other fun activities: http://www.pbs.org/parents/
