It is important to read with your child EVERY night! A "Be A Star Reader" sheet will be issued every month and kept in your child's BEE Book. Parents should read a book with their child every night and write the title of the book next to the day it was read. Students can color in the star after reading a book each night and the star reader sheet must be kept in his/her BEE Book. Reading logs will be collected at the end of each month. Reading with children will help develop language and will encourage their interest in reading.
When your child completes four full weeks of reading and turns in his/her star reader, he/she will earn a Reading Award.
